Have it here and I was thinking the same,but somehow can't rid of it.

We're pushovers, really, Meadow! My garden would be so much better if I could harden my heart a LOT more!

There's nothing wrong with your garden,Ang....we are poles apart, re: garden style, I feel I've made a rod for my own back though.

I know how you feel. It's always the same with me by this time of the year. A touch of 'garden overload'!

I have it too in semi shade and it has quite a strong colour so I am happy with it..

I loved it at first, SBG. Perhaps the original plant has 'gone' and this is inferior seedlings. It does seed very easily.

I used to have a colleague called Gill Richardson!!!! A transplant nurse who retired 2 years ago and enjoying her travels with OH in their camper!!😄
Regarding the astrantia, it’s a pretty colour..
