Do the insects use the double ones, Klahanie? A pretty shade of pink.

I can see why you’re fond of this one, I do like it. Gorgeous pale colouring and pretty shape to it too.

Ange, I have never noticed any bugs on double or single.
I have to be careful about deer. They will munch on them and not only the flower.

Interesting, your comments about the deer, Klahanie. I have read that they're poisonous to cats. I'm careful with mine around our two. I may give up on them after this. (Lilies, that is, not cats!) The early stages of the beetles are just too revolting to deal with on a regular basis.

I have read that too Anget. Good to be careful. Seems that it does not affect deer. But....they will eat my lupines and they are suppose to be poisonous to them. Maybe with the new hybrids they are loosing the toxicity. Who knows.
I believe that lots of plants are poisonous (in quantity)

I had to get rid of my white calla lily when we got Eve, I had read about their toxicity to cats. Plus my friend had bought me a lovely pink Anthurium for indoors and I had to give it away. Same reason, sadly.
