Crocus Sativus (Crocus sativus (Saffron Crocus))

Picked these up at the GC when I was visiting my parents in Ayrshire.
I’d like to plant them on the rockery and hopefully they’ll spread.
Best time to do so?

August/September are the usual times,Kate...I should plant them anyway a little deeper than normally you would do.They will give a very pretty show.

What else?

See who else is growing Crocus sativus (Saffron Crocus).

See who else has plants in genus Crocus.
