The first acer we bought, many years ago. Quite a slow growing tree, has an umbrella shaped canopy.
Orange autumn colour fades to yellow..

I am sure that yours is "Waterfall' Meadowland but Kate's is most likely Acer palmatum dissectum 'Viridis' .
