It is less than three years since I planted this bed as a prairie

wow it certainly has paid dividends. It still looks full of interest at the end of the year.

Klahanie - yes, it's turned out even better than I'd hoped. We all have a rose-coloured view of how our garden will look don't we?
Sbg - I will cut it all down mid-January as there will be bulbs coming through. The crocus should be flowering in February which gives me just enough time to get a mulch on

Glad to hear it turned out better than you hoped Andrew.
That is what we aim for in our gardens.
Please show when bulbs will come out. Might be sooner than usual with your warm temperatures.
