Darlingtonia californica starting to flower.

By Siris

Darlingtonia californica starting to flower. (Darlingtonia californica (Cobra Lily))

Bought in 2017, just starting to produce a flower, never seen a flower before. The green thing in the middle. Lives outside all year in a large pot stood in water in a sheltered shady position

Some of my Sarracenias have flower buds developing, they like a sunny position.

A second flower has emerged in 3 days, Im waiting for them to get bigger and develop their full colour, which I think has a hint of red. Before another photo.

What else?

See who else is growing Darlingtonia californica (Cobra Lily).

See who else has plants in genus Darlingtonia.

This photo is of "Darlingtonia californica" in Siris's garden
