Pandanus utilis in early spring. (Pandanus utilis (Common Screw Pine))

It takes until the consistent warm comes and then it turns a deeper green. This a before and later in summer a follow up.

Thanks Andy, It's in a pot,yet its rooted into the earth. I thought it would be best to keep it safe from gophers this way. It's going to low the vertical growth- but better slowed than eaten.
We will see how it does this summer. I might give it a proper hole in the ground for next spring.

See who else is growing Pandanus utilis (Common Screw Pine).

See who else has plants in genus Pandanus.
