Sicilian Honey Garlic / Allium siculum

Sicilian Honey Garlic / Allium siculum

Nectaroscordum siculum
Unique and delicate. As the flowers begin to fade, they turn upward. They are more curious than beautiful.
I am growing in very shady area. They smell like onion but only when disturbed.
Hummingbirds love this plant.

I have seen these growing in a mainly chalk garden ... so unusual.

That is interesting observation Shirley_tulip. Here they are growing in acidic clay with not so good drainage. I got them for several years and deer would not eat them, that is another positive feature.
