My ‘Golden Finger’ bananas are emerging now. Unfortunately, they won’t ripen until late November. Photo taken July 10, 2022.

Klahanie,
Last year the bananas ripened in July or August, but it flowered in early March.
I love banana bread! I made some last year.
I gave a lot of the bananas away, though. This variety tends to only produce 12 to 14 hands of 12 to 16 bananas per hand. Some varieties like Apple bananas have 20 to 26 hands and weigh 60 to 80 lbs.

That is still lots of bananas Delonix. I am glad that they do not get wasted and you share them. Is there any wildlife going after them (bugs, birds, wasps??)
By the way thank you for visiting my June garden photos.
