Oh,that's different Ange...not the usual red/orange.

Liking this one, Ange. Haven't seen this variety, certainly a lovely colour.

Thanks everyone. I can recommend this highly. I have 3 other types, none perform as well as this one does in my dry garden. It's the only perennial that looks any good at the moment. We keep being promised rain here but nothing. I like greeny flowers..

It drizzled here overnight, Ange. Not enough mind you.
Warm today, bit cloudy this afternoon but sunny now.
Think we've rain tomorrow.

I don't believe a word the Met. Office says anymore, Kate. It's supposed to appear overnight now. They keep moving the goalposts!

It certainly rained over night here...the entire lawn is an unfamiliar GREEN colour!!

Meadow, we've had a spot or two overnight, so we're going out to see if we can dig a few holes and move a few plants yet!

Never seen this before but it’s great isn’t it? So unusual.

I love it, Sheila. I took a slip cutting last spring so planted it on the opposite side of the small path this morning (Amazing, we had some rain overnight!!)with the help of OH. We resited a few plants this A.M.

How marvellous to get some planting done. Our soil is still like concrete, and my little cold frame is full of cuttings queueing for attention!

Oh, Sheila, I've been very patient! (not). This is the only proper rain lasting more than an hour that we have had in 3 months. (Raining here tonight, though..)
Would you like a slip of this one?

5 Sep, 2022

We’ve now had some drenching rain thankfully. Is that a generous offer, Ange? Is a slip a cutting? If so, that would be fantastic! x

Yep, will do! Mine is about 2ft high at the moment. Some sites say it gets to 1.2m. It has been in about 3 years, Sheila.

Wow, how kind. Thanks Ange!
