Yes, gorgeous as Ange says. It’s lovely to see your mature Osakazuki Klahanie … ours lost its leaves early this autumn, I think it had been too dry over the summer months and my efforts to hydrate it were too late. I now know that it shouldn’t be allowed to get too dry 🙁.

One of the best red colours on Japanese maples Ange.
In my opinion.
Sheila, my Osakazuki seems to hold leaves longer than another beautiful Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium' also called
'Maiku jaku' or 'Dancing peacock' . It lost its leaves long time ago and got me worried that maybe is not very happy.
Hopefully yours and my acers will recover in the spring.

They are Janey. This is one of my favorite for fall colour.

Ours was planted by Sam - lovely landscaper who built our garden. He said he puts one in every garden he builds, and I’m grateful because I had never heard of it 🙂.

Sheila, I am sure that one day it will be an autumn star in your garden. Clever Sam.

That's a gorgeous colour, Klahanie. I have a little one, so have high hopes.
