Popping up quickly but according to the weather forecast we will have freezing temperatures next week (in comparison to a nice spring weather in Europe.)
Some people find them invasive but these can spread as much as they want. There is only a poor grassy area underneath the Bigleaf maple.

Such pretty flowers ... I do hope your temperatures stay above freezing.

Siris, I hear from Ange that she does not have luck with them either and they thrive in the spot I have them but I do not see them anywhere else on the property so I might do a little experiment and get few seeds after blooming time and plant them in a different area. This spot is very hot in summer but they completely disappear in May and they are slow (if any) on the north side of the big tree, which is completely in shade year round.

Thank you Shirley_tulip. I also hope they are wrong about the freezing because all vegetation is quite advanced. I am following that purple tongue (on weather sites) coming down from North and it gets me worried.

Well, there's not much any of us can do about the weather, shame though that is!

Smashing to see! Yours are looking ready to pop. Just wish mine would start to emerge! Think it’s not going to happen now, this year, anyway.

I love them because they bloom so early and they do spread nicely. One day you will remember Rose.
Thank you for your comment.

I missed these Klahanie. They are such a delight in late winter aren't they. Mine are like Siris', shy but still a joy to see..:)
