Green Goddess Calla Lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica (Arum lily) green goddess)

My Green Goddess calla lily is still flowering. It’s been flowering for two months. Photo taken March 20, 2023.

Yes, looks unusual. Flowering well for you.

Balcony, I had to change the name. It’s called Green Goddess, not Emerald Green. 😂

Kate,

It is an unusual variety of Calla lily. My friend gave it to me a few years ago. I thought it was a form of Alocasia macrorrhiza, which is very common in California (low elevations, anyway).

Green Goddess suits it well. It's quite nice to have the more unusual.

Thanks for letting us know about the change of name - but as Shakespeare once wrote - "A rose by any other name,..." or, in this case, a Calla Lily (though it may not have scent)! 😆

Balcony,

Yes, it’s the same variety. Her plant has nicer, greener leaves.

Yes, I thought it was the same plant as well!

See who else is growing Zantedeschia aethiopica (Arum lily) green goddess.

See who else has plants in genus Zantedeschia.
