It’s gorgeous. It reminds me of one I saw today at Stourhead. It was a Japanese one called Magnolia hypoleuca or Japanese cucumber tree. It wasn’t in flower but I looked it up and the flowers were similar to yours. A neighbour here in Dorset has a lovely lemony yellow Magnolia too. I have one in Scotland but it is a creamier pale shade like yours.

I had a beautiful yellow magnolia "Elizabeth" for many years but suddenly it died Karen. I did have several casualties in recent years. Especially Camellias. Just cannot figure out their conditions. Although we have an acidic soil and one huge one which is doing fine.
