If you keep them frost free they'll be alright. They don't mind cold but not freezing. Also make sure the compost doesn't dry out too much - not wet but just on the dampish side. They should survive.
I don't know if you've kept fuchsias before but don't worry if the leaves fall off. They do that when they're dormant.

I had the leaves fall off one last year and thought I had done wrong. I'll just let it stay damp through that, and hope for a revival. Last years swingtime is blooming at the end of ft long branches with three
