I think our climate is very similar to Perth, Australia. I think downtown San Diego is a little milder in the Winter though. Perth has hotter temperatures in the Summer than Downtown San Diego...however, when you get just 5 miles from Downtown San Diego the temperature rises between
10 - 25 degrees. My location is usually 10 to 25 degrees warmer than Downtown San Diego. I'm only 8.5 miles from Downtown.
