Another common Madagascan native palm. These palm are widely sold all over the world as a houseplant. These are use an informal hedge.
Huge Podocarpus gracilior in the background.

Very impressive. Funny,you know they aren't plant people- nothing else is planted. Its one shopping day at Home Depot 20 years ago! They were on sale!

This photo was taken around 8 years ago. They took some of the trunks out and moved them to other areas of the yard (several years back). Now, there's many more clumps around this house.

Yes, we do have heaters in our houses...although, luckily I don't have to use mine very often. The old homes were build with fire places, the new homes don't have them.
