Here's another photo for my GoY friend Marguerite in Cairns, Australia. This is how Queensland Kauri grow in California when they get old...generally they are very conical when young until they get old and then branch out at the top.

Did you see the picture of this tree's trunk? I would like to know if the trunks look the same in Queensland.
