yep sorry Jac i agree with Sid looks very much like an Agave to me. Aloes usually dont have teeth! and Eygpt! would love to go, my parents just came back from there a few weeks ago - have'nt seen the pic's yet - mum always takes ages to get them developed! lol

This is my favourite type of plant - spiky and architectural.
