Beautiful Alocasia wentii (metallica)! I once grew this Alocasia to 5 feet tall and it had several branches. They commonly branch above ground on their trunk when they grow larger. Does it have the deep purple below the leaf?

Hi Delonix1
Yes they have deep purple underneath again i assume they will need protection in winter .
I would love it if it get's to 5ft tall but I'll have to hope it survives long enough to get that big .

I'm not sure how cold you get in Winer...but this plant doesn't tolerate freezing temps...even frost above freezing will kill the leaves.

What else?

See who else is growing Alocasia x amazonica (Elephant's ear plant).

See who else has plants in genus Alocasia.
