Chollas Lake Surrounded by Eucalyptus Trees

Chollas Lake Surrounded by Eucalyptus Trees

I take my dog for walks at this lake because the pathway is surrounded by large Eucalyptus trees. These large trees help prevents heat stroke from horrible hot weather...which we've been experiencing.

So strange - looks exactly like Oz. You would easily mistake this for a section of our river here in the north. Just lovely.

Benieh:

Thanks!

Most of the low elevations of California look just like this...with thousands of Eucalytus trees everywhere.

I think you would be surprised how many trees that have naturalized here that are native to Australia. I think I'v mentioned before that Calfornia grows more species of Eucalytus and quantity of Ecalytus trees outside of Australia.

Yes you have told me before - it's just such a surprise every time I see scenes like this from California! I'll get used to it eventually!

I'm sure it's s surprise especially if you've never travelled here before. : > )

Almost all my photos have Eucalyptus trees in the background, most people probably don't notice though.

Yes, it is very nice especially on these very hot days we've been having to be under these large Eucalyptus trees.
