Spiraea japonica 'Goldflame' - new foliage

Spiraea japonica 'Goldflame' - new foliage (Spiraea japonica)

The young foliage is the brightest. By the time the pink flowers come out, the foliage is a light yellow-green but still a bit of a garish mix

In early spring, just as new growth begins, cut back to a low framework (as for buddleias). If you want a larger bush, just trim it lightly
