It looks a bit like Tradescantia.

The flowers certainly look like that, and since I now have a botanical name, I found that the common name is Spiderwort; the leaves are long and narrow, and the plant is about 2-foot tall, higher if you straighten the leaves out. The seed pods look like iris pods too... But obviously no relation?

You see how good it is to chat about these things. I too have learnt something, as I didn't know it's common name of Spiderwort.
