how to make some thing ugly better

my friend had a large concrete block garage plonked next to the rear section fence.
it formed a vee shape that was practically unusable
the fence was totally derelict and the ground was all stones mud and debris.
so with the help of the neighbor ( who was delighted their new neighbor was so helpful) they replaced the fence.
with weed mat and stones the last thing was what to do with the rocks
paint them and make then look like a water fall in the distance
the appearance well look yourself

Looks great. My garage is equally ugly, what kind of paint is it piersdad?

both paints were acrylic based and the red was fence paint and the cream was 3 coats so as to make this always damp side of the garage water proof and stop the concrete allowing water (dampness) into the garage.
the weed mat is a black woven plastic.
and the stones i think are 3/4 inch average.
she tells me the rocks and lumps of concrete were all covered in mud so had to be carefully washed before painting to make them look like some thing in the far distance
thanks territoonie my friend will be chuffed
she is not finished her garden yet and i am waiting (and helping her) get rid of 20 years of neglect the previous owner was wheel chair bound and had the entire section covered in shingle which had weeds and grass in the top 4 inches of soil.

my friend said the paint was called flakaproof
it is a special formula with linseed oil in it and it is mound proof as well as water proof both the red and cream were this sort of paint
may be only available here in New Zealand

I am still wondering who had the long arms to paint in the corner?

lol looks deceptive but it is 6 meters to the end and yes it was a bit of a squeeze at the end hence dumping the spare rocks there.
and a roller brush on a stick was helpfull
