Beautiful colour Shirley. A member of my gardening group gave me a plant of this this morning, and it's covered in buds. :))

Mine has been the same Shirley and it's now 4 times the size it was when I bought it. They are definitely worth having aren't they. I have taken some cuttings but don't know if they will take.

You should be fine, Homebird. Cuttings from this are some of the easiest to strike. :))

Fingers crossed. I haven't checked for signs of roots yet.

That was a very good price Paul. I am glad you got one, they really are a nice addition to the garden and flower for ever.

This is definitely a popular plant! ... Mine are planted close to a tall Cordyline and seem to love it there ... despite not having much rain falling on them! ... :o)

That surprises me, Rose, as they are not rare! ... These two were on offer at a GC ... buy 1 and get 1 free ... :o)

22 Feb, 2012

Its a pity I'm not near your garden centre Shirley. We don't have many near us.I never thought of trying online Paul as I'm a bit wary of paying online, thanks anyway.

They even have one on Amazon :))))

These are really easy to take cuttings from in the Summer. Cut off shoots just below leaf joint about 5 inches take off two to three leaves and push into compost water and wait.......Plant out in Autumn.
