I hope to get fruit on my fig tree one day. Is yours in the pot or ground ., Jake47?

Hi Khla in the ground all year, i transplanted at around 5 foot tall (bought as a 5 inch plant a few years before) from the side of my house, its now about 11foot tall and producing more and better quality fruit. The leaves drop the beginning of winter and return in the spring.Sometimes if we get a late frost it kills off the leaves but it always seem to recover with vigour.

I have mine in pot and move it in the greenhouse in winter.
Do you have it in full sun?

Hi Khla yes as i have a south facing garden its in full sun all summer,i always water from the base and let the showers do the rest.

Thanks for your reply Jake47. I also water at the base but unfortunately we do not have any rain during the summer.
