Lilium lancifolium 'Flore Pleno'

AndrewR

By Andrewr

Lilium lancifolium 'Flore Pleno' (Lilium lancifolium)

This is a double-flowered form of the Tiger Lily. It reaches five to six feet tall and seems not to attract those nasty lily beetles - until it flowers!
It carries little bulbils up the stems so is easy to propogate. However, it is very prone to virus diseases but, being a strong grower, doesn't show any signs of infection
