Lilium speciosum var. rubrum 'Uchida' - 2017

By Andrewr

Lilium speciosum var. rubrum 'Uchida' - 2017 (Lilium speciosum)

Late flowering lily (Sarah Raven says it's fragrant and the last one in her garden to bloom), growing around four to five feet tall. Needs a moist acidic soil, but good drainage to prevent the bulb rotting in the winter. Part shade. "Relatively resistant" to lily beetle too.

Wait for the Parker's spring catalogue - it should be listed in there.
