That is lovely,Shirley..I am so looking forward to seeing mine flower, from the seeds you sent me..It may be a while yet,as no buds showing, but making good growth.:o)
I do hope they are Perennial..looks like they are hardy, after coming through the winter..:o)

Oh dear, Sandra, no buds yet? I hope they put a spurt on for you! : o )

Thanks for confirming they are Perennials, Denise. : o )

Prolific seeders Motty? Looks like I'll be pulling those out next year as well as the V.B.'s then . . . .

I have grown Malvas from seed this year too.....they are so tiny...but some are getting bigger now...nowhere near flowering, but that's ok, I'm hoping they will flower in August when everything else is finishing.

I was so surprised to see them popping through again Karen. They're about 18" high now and in a sunny border, a good plant as a 'filler' if you know what I mean! Yours will be lovely later in the year. : o ))

Keep dried flowers and foliage for winter teas. Very strong healing properties when you got flu, pneumonia or have stomach ulcers.

12 Jun, 2011

By the way, is it possible to send me few seeds at the end of the season?

12 Jun, 2011

Hi Katarina ... I'll put a reminder on to send you some seeds ... will PM for your address around that time. : o ))

12 Jun, 2011

12 Jun, 2011

I just love these Shirley, perfect with the lovely white petals and pink centers;0)

12 Jun, 2011

They're being pounded by rain and wind now. : o ((

12 Jun, 2011

My lovely Poppies too are being bashed about, looking very tatty now;0(

13 Jun, 2011

That's a shame PP, they're such fragile flowers so I'm not surprised. I found some Foxgloves, Nigella and tall Daisies had all bent over in the wind and rain last night so I've been repairing the damage today. : o ((
