I bought 2 small ones of these this year, the birds pulled one up and flew of with it, lol, and the other has grown a bit. I can't wait for it to get as big and beautiful as yours.

It won't take long - I got this one only a year ago pretty cheaply at a diy store as a small plant - I've even had to thin it out a bit. The flower spikes were nice too.

Thanks! I had to stick to just one or two as I have such a small garden. Really pleased with this, its been a lovely coppery colour over the winter.

I'd like one too - I have sort of crammed mine in a small space - this would be a nice finish to the collection

What else?

See who else is growing Stipa arundinacea (Pheasant's tail grass).

See who else has plants in genus Stipa.

This photo is of "Pheasant Grass" in Weatherwise's garden
