can I move a sambucus nigra now

By Sebby

United Kingdom Gb

It is about 3 years old, 5ft tall

On plant Sambucus nigra

It would be much better to wait until your Sambucus is dormant, in late autumn or early long as the ground isn't frozen!

Prepare the planting hole before digging round the shrub, then dig it out with as much of the rootball as possible. You'll have to water it well for its first year in the new position.

Good luck!

Thanks Spritz, just wishful thinking that I could move it, perhaps should just buy another.
