What plants will survive a Perth garden?

Perth & Kinross, Scotland Sco

As I mentioned before, I have a small garden but I'm not sure what will survive here, it's pretty windy, but a sunny, south-east (I think) facing garden. It gets morning sun til about 1-2pm, then the sun moves to the front of the house. the back of the garden gets the sun all day (where I have the bench & my baby Willow screen).
Ideas for the Scottish climate please?

Madperth, I would suggest that you make a few visits to the public gardens around Perth and see what they are growing. Most things that survive in the UK will be OK where you are as you will have a pretty good local climate.
With a small plot like yours you could look at rockery plants and small bulbs like crocus and cyclamen.

There I am about to give info - then I realise you mean Perth in Scotland, not the antipodean one! Silly that I'd have found it easier to tell you what to grow over there - not sure about Scotland, sorry, but I know there are members from up there who hopefully will help.

If you like alpines go and look at Branklynn Garden for inspiration or the Plant Hunters Garden at Pitlochry... there are so many wonderful gardens in Perthshire you can visit for inspiration...

Ive been to the Pitlochry one, amazing! But I didn't have a garden at the time, so wasn't paying attention to what the plants were!
