Apple tree

I have a small apple tree, about 7ft tall and 20 yrs old. Nearly every year it has over 100 apples on, ready about this time of year. They're eating apples.
I'd love to know the name of this tree. Is it possible to find this out ?

Just Google apple identification or something similar and helpful sites should come on screen.

Or take a fruit to one of the National Trust Apple Days. Certainly there is one at Erddig in Wrexham and at Attingham near Shrewsbury. Not sure when or indeed if they have gone this year.

Or you can get an ID from Brogdale in Kent. I think it's about £10 a go. You would need to send an apple and some foliage.

I reckon it's a Howgate Wonder. i seem to remember my wife mentioning this donkey's years ago and the apples certainly resemble the picture of these.
So I guess I need go no further.
