The bad weather has caused my cordylines to droop and the tops have bent very badly What can I do

On plant cordyline australis



Hi Denise......are they planted in the garden or in pots and how high are they? My 3 are in the garden and 2 are above 8ft tall. These seem to have weathered the low temps and snow okay.The smaller ones outer leaves look to have drooped but the growing tip looks fine. I would leave yours till the Spring as the leaves will protect any new growth, then take the lower leaves off and hopefully they'll start again. If they are in tubs, I would move them somewhere more sheltered then consider planting them in the garden, the roots will be better protected.
