I have a Bleeding Heart that I have had for quite a few years. Today I noticed that some of the new growth and new flowers are distorted. Most of the plant looks fine.
I have searched the internet and cant find any pictures that even begin to resemble what I am seeing.
Any ideas?

I've seen this before but cant remember why. The advice at the time was to cut out the affect parts and burn them.

It could be frost damage or weedkiller damage? The rest of the plant looks fine, so I would cut off these distorted stems and enjoy the rest of the plant.

Thanks. I had sprayed some weed killer, so it could be that some drifted over to it and we have had a few cold nights so frost is also -possible.
I will remove the affected parts and burn them or put them in the trash pick up just in case it is a disease or insect. :)

How do I say thanks?
