My indoor mint plant has started to look pretty unhealthy, with older leaves developing brown spots and dying. Does anyone know what might be causing it?

The plant is on a north-facing windowsill, so it doesn't get a huge amount of direct light, but it's not that dim...

Mint is tough as old boots and is much happier grown outdoors, whether in a container or the ground - needs a lean, well draining soil. Your mint looks pot bound to me.

Cut it back and repot it into a much bigger pot then keep it well watered put it outside as MG says and don't let it flower
