My peppers are growing & still green will there be enough time left for them to mature same with my toms Cheers

It looks as though you have cut back the leaves on the pepper plants. They are not like tomato plants and need their leaves for growth. They will probably ripen but I wouldn't recommend taking of the leaves again. My tomatoes in the garden are rubbish but I hope to salvage something from them.

Why can't you eat them green? We eat them green only.

We too like them green if they're large enough. They never stay on the plant long enough to turn colour !

I agree about not removing pepper leaves, and the toms only below the last fruit truss....unless they are yellow or damaged.

They look more like chillis than peppers.....
Mine are the size of my hand and beginning to change colour, no problem eating them green but are sweeter when red, and chillis hotter.
Toms are ripening well too and will continue to do so in the greenhouse for another month at least I would think, depending on the weather
