For the first time this year I grew 2 chilli peppers.
Caldero, a compact plant with fairly small fruit which turned a nice red.
Fuego, much larger plant and peppers, should be red but are still green. Will they change colour at this late stage or is it alright to use them green?

They can be eaten green and will have a slightly different flavour, probably not as sweet. Fuego means fire in Spanish but I think they are classed as a medium hot pepper.

Hi I grow peppers every year - they will still go red in time mine are still turning and its November now - last years were still gowing into late december (in the greenhouse mind - But unheated) I pick them when ready and freeze them - they keep well for months - I also dry out the seeds from one of them and use for next years crop and as said above you can eat them green or red -- My brand are Thi Dragon (Very Hot) Ken
