Hordes of woodlice

This is probably a silly amateurish question but I can't shake it out of my head! Is it possible for a garden to have too many woodlice? I know they're harmless and actually quite good for the garden but everytime I move something, like a pot or a watering can, there are hordes of woodlice underneath! Should I be doing something to limit their numbers or is it a case of "the more the merrier"?

Thank you!

They do love areas of high humidity. Just make these wet areas dry by whatever means that you find suitable.

You can hugely cut down the number under pots by standing the pots on feet of some sort - either bought ones or your own - I use sea shells or little pebbles all the same size.

the more the merrier really as their predators will also eat other pests.

Thanks guys. I live close to the beach so putting shells under the pots will be no problem! It's strange, spiders I can cope with but woodlice give me the heebie jeebies!

How do I say thanks?
