I have twenty or more lawn bee burrows in my (so-called)lawn which have appeared in the last couple of weeks. What do I do about cutting the grass? The little mounds of sandy earth that the bees have thrown up are bone dry and cutting the grass will block the entrances to their burrows. Thanks for any advice!

Cut your grass. They will clear their entrances once your finished to be sure.

If it's not absolutely essential to get rod of them I would leave them alone. Our bees are steadily declining and we need to try and protect the ones that we have as they are very very important to us.
