My bird of paradise will not flower. I fertilise and water regularly. It's in a position where it gets the sun all day (when it's out) and in the winter has been kept in our conservatory where our climate control keeps the temperature above 10. I'm pretty sure it's pot bound as hasnt been repotted for 2-3 years but I've had the plant 5 years and it's not flowered once. It also has lots of new leafs growing. I would love this to flower this year for my wedding in September! Any suggestions?

They do take some time to flower (often longer than five years). Left in a tight pot and fed with just a tomato fertiliser (potassium) occasionally, should do the trick.

Thanks Jimmytheone.

Just me being impatient then i suppose!

Fingers crossed it likes the conditions this year!
