We are constructing a framework to support the plants of a raspberry bed (variety Joan J). The wooden posts making up the framework have been pressurised with wood preservative. Is there a danger that the raspberry plants could take up some of the preservative chemical? If so, what might we do to lessen the risk?

Your raspberry canes shouldn't be tied to the wood but to wires running from one support post to another, they wouldn't take kindly to being tied up to posts.

If you are concerned about the roots coming into contact with the chemical from the buried part of the post there should be no problem. Using creosote wouldn't have been a good idea but you should be OK with pressure treated ones.
