3 of my bottle brush plants flowered in June and the 4th didn't. It has now flowered instead, ( start of September). Is there any reason for this? They are all in the same area and all get watered together.

If its always in that position, the difference might be accounted for by the fact its slightly more exposed - the others have a shed directly behind them, and this one isn't all up against the shed. Sun and wind exposure may differ slightly too. Its surprising what a difference these little things make.

Hi bamboo,
Yes your right it is more exposed where it is.
So as you say perhaps that has made the difference. I might swap them around and see if the late flowering one flowers in June next year.
