Hi, I agree with Loosestrife, botanical name Araucaria heterophylla, it isn't hardy in the UK, it can stand low temperatures, but if it gets frozen, you will lose it, ideally keep it at 34 -40f, it can be put outside in summer, but should be under glass for winter, Derek.

The creamy white ends to the branches seem to say it is CRYPTOMERIA JAPONICA SEKKAN SUGI – a small form of the Japanese Cedar, which is fairly common in the UK.

I have never seen Araucaria heterophylla/Norfolk Island pine having those creamy white ends, either planted indoors or outdoors. They are also much rarer in the UK.
