my climbing rose has bolted before i had a chance to plant. do i cut back the boted growth before planting.?

Hi Joycejinx, welcome to GoY, if you look lower down this page, you'll find the answers given to the first and second time you asked this question, Hoya105 has given guidance on how to get the best results from your climbing rose, and Bamboo has given advice on when to plant out, both of these answers give good advice, although it's very mild at the moment, if you don't harden it off before planting, and then we get a severe frost, {it is still winter after all} your plant will be damaged, maybe even killed, it is sound horticultural practice, to harden off any outdoor plants, which have been stored somewhere warmer than they would be outside, before planting out, even really hardy plants, can be made ''soft'' if kept too warm, Derek.
