hello - what shall I do with my gladioli I have cut them back, as I really needed to tidy up. there are millions of little bulblets, I cant pull them all off they seem to be embedded in the main bulb, shall I lift them. they all fell over this year. s shall have to stake next year?

Unless you live somewhere reasonably warm and they are planted in well drained soil, then dry store the corms over winter. The baby ones you can either leave attached until next Spring or you can rub them off and store as with the main corms. The babies take a while to reach flowering size so those who want them often grow them in straight lines in the Veg patch until they are big enough.
The babies will fall of in store, or at least they usually do.
