Morning people thank you for your help on my previous question
I have another what is this and can I grow it on from a cutting?

Looks like a Ceonothus and if so, yes you can grow from cuttings.

I agree, Ceanothus. It's beautiful right now.

they take from cuttings really easily. you need semi ripe material, that is this years growth before it becomes very woody, usually late summer. In the past I have taken 6" pieces, removed the leaves from the bottom 3-4 inches and then popped them into a gritty moist compost. 4-6 cuttings in a 9cm pot. Kept in a sheltered spot or cold frame they root in about 6 weeks. when they have a decent root pot them up into individual 9cm pots.

Thanks from me, I have two ceanothus plants. I may have to give this a try.
