Thanks Klahanie. I’m impressed! OH looked through masses of leaf pictures online, and concluded that it looked like a Lime tree. So I think you’re right 🙂.

Just looking at your picture and without knowing anything else about the tree in your neighbourhood Sheila, I would suggest genus of Tilia (linden) ..... Just a wild guess .
