Hi folks, the wife and I are having a difference of opinion. I have purchased a Fleece protective cover for my cordyline. I want to leave it on all over winter. The wife keeps taking it off when we are not due a frost, which means it's off then on etcetera. What do you guys/girls think?

well I am with the wife on this one as I don't particularly like the look of fleeced plants. Also the dry air circulating the cordyline will help reduce any fungal or bacterial infections.

which cordyline is it?

This is the RHS advice link below

They don't say to fleece but to tie the fronds up.

I also agree, only need to fleece in worst weather. Ventilation is important.

Thanks folks, that's another reason for the wife to say 'I told you so'.

I also agree ... just tie the leaves together, forming an upright bunch to keep out the wet.

Whoops, we crossed!
