Spotted this insect on one of my lavender plants this week. Can anyone identify please? Think I've asked this question in the past perhaps..




It looks like a Firebug [Pyrrhocoris apterus] but not certain as it isnt usually found this far north.
I will keep looking for a better match.

The cinnamon bug is a better match for the wing patterns.
